Salesforce has announced the release of an innovative new product, which allows businesses to access it flagship application from handheld devices.

The introduction of Mobile Lite, which is compatible with the iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices, offers customers of the software-as-a-service provider admittance to its customer relationship management (CRM) product in any location.
Specifically, Salesforce CRM can improve businesses' data quality and manage client relationships and work loads.
Marc Benioff, chairman and chief executive of Salesforce, said: "By delivering mobile access to our cloud, for free, we're accelerating adoption of the cloud and delivering value to customers in times when they need it the most."
Earlier this month, Salesforce revealed that it would be teaming up the popular micro-blogging site Twitter with its CRM program to give customers the opportunity to 'tweet' to their clients.
