Displaybank统计数据显示，2008年低价上网本总出货量突破1462万台，优于市场预期。出货量排名则以宏碁后来居上排名第一，华硕紧追其后，惠普出货也冲上100万台大关，微星以黑马之势排名第4。

时间逼近年尾，低价上网本销量统计排行即将出炉，Displaybank发表第4季预估出货排名，宏碁以Aspire one后来居上，单季销量305万台，全年销售量超过华硕稳居今年低价上网本龙头。
而华硕受第4季销售规模持续稳定下，屈居第2，第3名则被第2季度才进入低价上网本领域的惠普夺得。Displaybank预估，惠普今年两款Mini系列低价上网本销售量将突破109万台。
宏碁董事长王振堂日前表示：“宏碁虽对跨入低价上网本犹豫多时，但评估6个月后，推出符合市场需求机种，并将会后发先至。”果不其然，Displaybank预估宏碁今年Aspire one销售量545万台。
微星则将以70万台销售量排名第4，英特尔的学生计算机Classmate PC专攻第三世界国家，销售量32.6万台居第5，而麻省理工学院的OLPC估只有出货26万台。
今年在各厂商全力拼低价上网本销量的情况下，市场规模冲上1460万台。2009年Displaybank仍最看好宏碁出货量，前4名排名与今年相当，微星预估将冲上111万台，戴尔则以94万台挤入第5。

Intel Classmate PC 也算 Netbook?
Wikipedia对netbook的定义如下：
A netbook is a light-weight, low-cost, energy-efficient, highly portable laptop suitable for web browsing, email and general purpose applications — primarily noted for its small form factor. Netbooks typically have less processing power than full-featured notebooks and limited ability to run resource-intensive operating systems.
The netbook's form factor prioritizes small size and low weight — with a size smaller than a notebook and a typical weight of 2 to 3 lb (about 1 kg). To this end, netbooks typically feature an LCD screen of 7-10 inches, measured diagonally, and a keyboard usually 80 percent to 95 percent of a full-sized laptop's. 所以从上述定义来看，把Classmate PC定义为netbook是毋庸置疑的，尤其是第三代Classmate PC已经用上了Atom和SSD，所以更不用怀疑它就是Netbook了.
比较想不通的是HP在Netbook上是怎么也能进3甲的(记忆里HP的Netbook还是以价高没竞争力见长，没想到。。。)，难道真是应了那句"瘦死的骆驼比马大"?
